Golfer's Against Cancer 2007 Summary

2007 was our 11th year.  Our totals, including matching funds, from all across the country was approximately $3 Million in 2007 for a grand total of $16 Million in funds raised for cancer research projects since 1997.  

We are very pleased that much of the seed capital that we have contributed has led to proof of concept research that has resulted in a much higher total of governmental funding from the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Health.  
 
We are unusual because we are simply a group of all volunteers who started this to support friends who were fighting cancer but we quickly learned that if we can help  the researchers, we can make a huge difference.
