Golfer's Against Cancer 2008 Summary

2008 was our 12th year of raising funds for cancer research. Our totals, including matching funds, from all across the country was approximately $1,750,000 for a grand total of $18 Million in funds raised for cancer research projects since 1997.

We are very pleased that much of the seed capital that we have contributed has led to proof of concept research that has resulted in a much higher total of governmental funding from the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Health. We continue to fund promising cancer research projects and follow their results.

We want to thank all of you who have participated in our all-volunteer efforts in 2008 as well as previous years.
