Volunteer

One of the most important way you can help our cause (and have fun as the participant!) is by becoming a volunteer. Golfers Against Cancer is totally a volunteer effort so we need lots of volunteers!

We have committees who really need your help. You may also have special talents that can help.  If you want to make a difference and have a lot of fun, please call. We'll put you to work.

What are some of the tasks which a volunteer does?

  1. Solicit corporate sponsorships by calling on area corporations in the Houston business community.

  2. Help spread the word - sign up golfers/teams by calling on fellow golfers and friends; putting up posters in the community.

  3. Help us solicit auction items from area merchants and in the Houston business community.

    Live Auction Items - call Laurie Ducey at 281-361-7710

  4. Volunteering during the gala/silent auction and/or tournament for decorations and helping staff the welcome/sign-in tables.

  5. Sell tickets to the gala/silent auction.
