GRANT SUCCESS IN HOUSTON
2015 marked our nineteenth year of fund raising in the Houston area. We awarded ten cancer research grants with a total funding of $707,300 (including matching funds).
In March 2016 we held our annual Beneficiary Luncheon and presented awards to researchers from five local institutions.
The ten research projects, listed by title and organization, address a variety of cancers: pancreatic, liver, ovarian, retinoblastoma, glioblastoma, osteosarcoma, breast, and prostate as well as approaches to immunotherapy.
